I am looking for some feed back on this blog. Could you please leave some comments on what you like and what you think I could improve? I feel I have a good group of friendly readers and I am feeling it is time to make TCDB grow. All ideas and comments are welcome. Thanks

So long Eddie

From the sad news department, the dog who played Eddie on the "Frasier" television show and the older Skip in the movie "My Dog Skip" has died of old age. The dog, whose real name was Moose, was 16 -- 112 in human years.

Been a long time, long time

I see it has been a week since I last posted and I am very sorry for that. I know Bosco is not happy about everyone having to wait for more Bosco goodness. With summer here and my parents being here last week there has not been a lot of time for writing but now things are getting back to normal so lets hope I can keep the blog updated. I will be tinkering with the forum a bit this week so I hope none of the great posts so far get lost. I will do my best to transfer them over. If you have not checked it out yet please do. I am in the works of thinking of some new ideas for the blog, and getting more stories written for you to read. It is amazing how much time you want to spend on a hobby like this compared to the time you can spend on it. Now only if this blog made money I would be all set. I am trying to keep up with reading everyone elses blog as well. So what has been up with the Bosco this past week? Hmmm let me think. He really enjoyed my parents visit and loved following them around and snuggling with them on the couch. A lot of lazy days laying in the backyard this week as the weather was ideal. There has not been a weigh in as of late but I have a feeling on the next one he will be closer to the goal of 85 lbs. Bosco's 3rd birthday is just a month away as well so I have to start making a plan for that! So once again, thanks for all the support and clicks and I hope you continue to read about Bosco and his adventures. I will leave you with a picture of a little present I picked up at Walmart last week for Bosco. He has been caught staring at it and even licking it a few times. Have a good week.

No real Bosco news but this is the happs

Hi everyone, don't worry Bosco is doing well, there really has not been a lot going on with the Chocolate man lately but since it is pouring with rain and he is laying at my feet with a pouty face I figured it was a good time to check in. Tragic Booda incident My parents are visiting and my Dad was unaware of the toy rules of Bosco. There is only a few toys that you can play tug of war with due to Bosco's super strength. Poor Booda was thrown into the mix and the ending was not good. I will let the pictures tell the story. Doggies go to Point Pleasant Park

The other day it was such a beautiful day that we had to make the most of it. My parents and I took the dogs (Bosco and Brodie) to Point Pleasant Park. It is the biggest and most historic park in the city and it is one of the few places where dogs can legally roam free. We all packed into the truck (tight fit) and we were off. The dogs loved the space and they sniffed and walked everywhere they could. We saw all kinds of other dogs and in particular a great number of Chocolate Labs. Even a little puppy that was all goofy and cute.

Bosco and Brodie certainly enjoyed that trip and they slept for the rest of the day.

Summer days There has been so much rain lately that when the sun was out yesterday I had a chance to cut the grass. As you can see Bosco likes a fresh cut lawn. Just a great picture

No real story here, this is just a great picture of one time when we got home and the Dogs were all happy to see us. Katie is having some fun with them as they wait for her to open the door. That is all for now everyone, have a great day.

New feature, check it out

Wednesday, June 07, 2006
Bosco has been hard at work thinking of new ways to interact with the readers of his blog. The comments have been great but it is hard to communicate back to people and build a small community feeling. So after many hours on the project (sleeping) Bosco asked for me to set up a forum. Now you can post all kinds of stuff and others can read it and reply all in one neat little package. So please go check out the Chocolate Dog Blog forum and sign up today. If you tell one friend and they tell one friend and so on, what a wonderful world it will be.

Dogs in Toronto, are you going??

Woofstock, the festival for dog lovers, is back this coming weekend and appears to have outgrown its previous location in the Distillery District. This year, the free event will close down four blocks between Berczy Park at the Flatiron building and the historic St. Lawrence Market. Everything you could want for your pooch and more await you. Watch for the latest trends on the doggy runway then shop for clothes, collars and other accessories. Show off your best pal in contests like best Stupid Dog Trick or the Canine Canada Pageant. Some of the prizes are pretty cool: stays at the dog-friendly King Edward Hotel and an oil painting of your dog. If your pooch isn't so pretty send in a picture for a chance to participate in an Extreme Doggie Makeover, or celebrate a life of leisure by bringing your older pup along for the Salute to Seniors Dog Parade. Head down and relish a city that's dog-friendly, if only for the weekend. (image: c o l o u r b l i n d)

NBA Finals with Bosco

Tuesday, June 06, 2006
Bosco answers some questions about the 2006 NBA Finals that start on Thursday. 1. Who will win between the Miami Heat and Dallas Mavericks? The Mavericks because they like to run and that big German guy is cool 2. How many games? 6 games. 3. Will the Mavs be able to stop Shaq? No way, that guy is cool, my owner likes to call me baby Shaq when I do my leans. 4. Do you plan on watching the games? I hope to but they start late out here in the Atlantic time zone so I am usually snoozing by then. 5. Will the Mav's owner Mark Cuban have any influence on the series? Nah he is plain old loco. 6. Any closing thoughts? Yeah, I wish the series was not simulcast in Canada, I like the dope American network commercials.
